" I don't usually write reviews but this thing is awesome! I used to live in Rhode Island which had the best tasting water, I'm now in Connecticut and my water is heavily chlorinated to the point where you can smell it far away from the glass. I'm trying to drink plain water, which I do not like, because I'm trying to save money by not buying flavored waters. I read the reviews for this and decided to purchase it. When I received it the one thing I had great difficulty on, which I rated as a three-star, was that I could not unscrew the filter housing from the base. I'm 58 years old and I do have some strength issues in my hand but I was also using a rubber grip on each end and it just wasn't giving. I had finally given up and then the next time I picked it up all the sudden it just unscrewed. The installation was very easy it gave a vast array of adapters so I had no problem finding one that fit my sink. The only con besides me not being able to unscrew it, I say it's a con but it doesn't bother me, the water will still come out a little bit after you flip the switch on the faucet to go back to the faucet water from the filter. But I don't have an issue with that it doesn't bother me at all. In my old apartment I waited forever for the landlord to install a hose in the sink and I just gotten it when I moved to a new place! This place also does not have a hose. But in addition I have a very shallow sink, it's only about five and a half inches deep. So I was trying to look for some type of filter that wouldn't extend my current faucet head. This does extend it because of the swivel head but I'll take it. I love having the swivel head is awesome, I can clean around my sink with no problem, and I can clean larger pots now where I had difficulty before. I only have a single sink and up until now I had a dish drainer in my sink and it was enough room on the side for me to wash my dishes as I'm only one person in my apartment. But with the new Swivel head I can't really have enough room to leave my dish drainer in the sink. I put a dish mat on the counter and put the dish drainer back up on the counter I was just trying to save room by having it in the sink. But I don't see any reason why someone would want not want to make this purchase."

We bought this because the iSpring CT10 which uses the FCT10 filter has been phased out. We used it for more than 2 years and replaced the cartridges every 6 months and were completely satisfied. This LCF Countertop Water Filter installed so easily, it took me 2 minutes from the time I took it out of the box to getting water from the filter. I used channel locks though it comes with an array of tools. Now we will see how it performs. We have a water testing kit and will compare it with the iSpring. Our Texas water is very alkaline so we bought the enhanced model for a neutral PH. We will update this review after we use it for a few weeks.

"Our family of 5 drinks soooo much water- it’s the only thing we drink. After having the LCF filter in my cart for awhile, we purchased it for Christmas!! The installation and setup took 2 minutes! Easy! The quality is durable and the stainless steel look is great! We had trouble at first with dripping from the filter, but there was air in the line. After a few test runs, it works great! There is high pressure from the flow rate of filter, water! Taste is crisp, there is NO chlorine smell or taste!! We are very impressed!"

"What I didn't know I was looking for all these years. It's hard to overstate how perfect this is. I basically have an in sink water filter without having to install a new sink. (I live in an apartment, so that's not even an option). Let's put this in perspective: I've had Britta foscet filters for years. They break easily. They leak. The switch between tap and filter water is always flimsy. They're plastic (and not expensive plastic). They look terrible. They're constantly in the way. And they get quite dirty from dish water back splash (yeah it's unpleasant). But a hundred tiny water bottles a day is an absolute no-go, filter ptichers have to be refilled too often, neither of these things works well for cooking, and distillers are too expensive to run. So what's the alternative? Come to discover, there are these giant counter top filters that use you foscet but actually leave your foscet and sink free! I have my sink back! That alone is worth the price. And when I found this particular one, with a sprayer feature - absolutely! It's super easy to install, solid metal, solid/sturdy swtich to change between tap and filter, the filter is supposed to last a year, it has a sprayer foscet feature, NO LEAKAGE, and have I mentioned I have my sink back? Some things: Other reviews have mentioned the flow of water through the filter doesn't stop immediately when you turn the foscet off. This is kind of obvious, honestly, because to get to the filter, water has to fill the entire hose between filter and foscet, and then that water has to go somewhere. It's also easily compensated for by simply turning the foscet off before your glass is full. There are supposedly two different sprayer settings... I can't really tell the difference. Changing between sprayer and normal water stream settings could be easier. You have to rotate the nozzle to do it, which is difficult with wet hands. I find it works to grip the rotating part with my entire fist and turn. Two fingers just isn't enough, not because you need force to turn it, but because it's just awkward. None of this diminishes the value for me. Really, really happy with this purchase."

"I recently purchased this water filtration system and was impressed by its straightforward setup and installation process. While one review mentioned dribbling after shutting off the faucet, the instruction manual clearly explains this minor occurrence and provides guidance for addressing it-along with instructions for handling any small leaks during installation. The inclusion of Teflon tape for sealing connections is a thoughtful touch. The swivel head offers two spray settings, a welcome upgrade from my standard faucet, and the kit arrives complete with an extra filter as well as tools for installation and maintenance. According to the manufacturer, each filter lasts up to a year, and at $30 per replacement, the savings compared to purchasing bottled water are substantial-not to mention avoiding the microplastics often found in bottled products. The filtration noticeably improves the water’s taste, producing a smooth, clean, and refreshing quality-some of the best water I’ve ever had. In terms of value, it easily outperforms alternatives like Brita and similar systems. I’m genuinely delighted with this purchase and have already begun recommending it to friends and family."

After reviewing of the different types of water filters, I decided on this one. I like the fact it comes with an extra filter cartridge and the different parts to fit various types of faucets. Mine didn't need them and fit right on. The installation was super easy and everything went smooth as silk. I liked the various types of filtration this unit does and I have to say the water tastes great! I wanted to get away from drinking bottled water after finding out about microplastics in them. You will be very pleased with this unit and worth every penny. Looks nice too!

We love our LCF 3 gallon Gravity Water Filtration System. Perfect size and the water tastes great. This was easy to put together and prime and insert the filters. Love that it has three carbon filters and three fluoride filters. It is a clean system and easy to maintain. Easy to refill and we could have used the counter stand that came with it but we had this taller stand that we thought we would try. The stand we are using is a plant stand so we had to put a dish towel on the stand to keep the water canister level. If we decide to use the counter top stand, the canister fits level without a towel. This was well worth the price and we are satisfied with this product.

"This has got to be one of the best products I have ever bought. It has to be in my top 5. This is an amazing company, and they make one of the best products I have ever purchased. Not only was this LCF Gravity-fed Water Filter System, made with top quality materials, packaged with tremendous care but, IT MAKES THE BEST WATER I HAVE TASTED IN YEARS!!!, I don't want to forget how much money I've saved, since I no longer have to pay for all those filters I bought every year. 9000 gallons is a lot of yummy water and a bundle of savings. PS: In case anyone is interested, I bought the Professional System, because I don't want, I don't need all those chemicals in my body, like Chlorine, Fluoride, etc etc."

"After lot of research on water purifiers I finally decided to purchase the LCF purifier and I am highly satisfied with the Product. Unlike the simple faucet the LCF's faucet design looks so elegant with UV chamber and glowing blue light when the tap is on and water run through it. A rare product in amazon which cares about customers as the design built in such a way the water purifier does not reduce TDS, no bad smell or odor, maintains Ph, kills bacteria, removes heavy metals and most importantly preserve the minerals and providing good taste of water. The installation is easy and the sleek design fits to the corner side under sink which consumes only little space. The speed of the water flow is also very good. Customer service is awesome, response from support team is so positive and customer satisfaction is their top priority and they mean it 100%. The moment I email the support team about faucet issue I got a replacement with in a day's time which is absolutely fantastic and unmatchable support. As Step 1, I purchased the TDS test kit first and I check my tap water TDS value which came around 180's. You can google it with 'best tds levels for drinking water with minerals' and you will see explanation of what does it means. Now what I need is to maintain the TDS value by purifying the water and at the same time preserve the essential minerals, so I found this gem product LCF water purifier in Amazon. After installing the purifier, I verified the TDS and its perfectly intact with the same value as before. Many of the water filters available in the market are coming with RO design and it is built in a way that TDS will be reduced and most of the minerals will be lost during the purifying process. So I asked myself what is the point of even drinking that water when the essential minerals are lost which are most needed for human body in day to day life. The same case applied even with bottled water and more over there are microplastics in plastic bottles which is not good for health in long run. Hence, I started researching for a right product and finally found the LCF filter which is a perfect replacement for those tds reducing purifiers and bottled water. I would not say RO is not needed but its required when the TDS values in water is high or water is highly contaminated which is not in my case, so I chosen the product with out RO. You can google it with the search ""when is RO filter needed in home"" and you will understand the details on it. And finally I purchased a home water drinking test kit to verify if the filter is passing all water tests, and surprisingly all the values appeared as per recommended sheet in the test kit. Finally a peace of mind with LCF water purifier. If your requirement fits similar to mine I would definitely suggest to go with LCF purifier. Overall its an amazing product, A+ rating and highly recommended."

It works great well worth the money and it's easy to hook up.and the water tastes great. I'm out as a faucet close to the edge of the counter so I can fill up my 5 gallon bottles of water and other large bottles.
